Earth’s water cycle is envisioned in a new way, revealing that the water in rivers, lakes and wetlands is just the “tip” of the Earth’s vast freshwater reservoir; that is, just the “tip of the iceberg” and the hidden portion of the “iceberg” is liquid groundwater.
