The Groundwater Project Announces a New Collaboration with GroundwaterU

The Groundwater Project is pleased to announce a new collaboration with GroundwaterU, an online library of high-quality educational videos related to all things groundwater: from science and engineering to law and policy, for all interest and learning levels, and in multiple languages. These videos can be viewed by anyone at no cost. The video library includes documentaries, video recordings of high-quality lectures and presentations, instructional field and laboratory footage, as well as animations and computer simulations, for example.

Together with John Cherry, founder and chair of The Groundwater Project, the founder of GroundwaterU (Andrew Cohen) coauthored the book Conceptual and Visual Understanding of Hydraulic Head and Groundwater Flow, which is available for free at https://gw-project/books. The authors share a similar vision regarding the symbiotic use of books and videos as educational tools, recognizing that learning by way of books and video instruction make for a fuller educational experience compared to using only one of these media.
